If you’ve considered moving servers to a public cloud provider, you’ve probably wondered what is involved in bringing up servers on AWS and what it’s like to live with them day-to-day. In this session, you’ll spin up a Windows and Linux server on AWS, log into them, update operating systems, and get the basics down of running and securing servers in the cloud.

Interested in building or migrating to a cloud environment but wondering how much it will cost? In this session, we’ll introduce several services available on the AWS platform and give you tools and tips to calculate and budget for your monthly costs based on a variety of factors, such as sizing, geographic region, operating systems, and more.

So you’ve decided to use a cloud provider for disaster recovery or to run a few servers. What does it take to get the data there? How quickly can you recover? How complicated is the process? In this session, you’ll learn how to use CloudEndure to migrate a server to AWS, bring it online, and log into it. You’ll configure replication, preconfigure the server settings once it comes up on AWS, and run through the recovery process. After this session, you’ll understand how machines can be migrated and protected on AWS with a fast, simple, low-impact recovery workflow.
