This in-depth demonstration of VMware SRM will include a scripted, choreographed failover and re-protect (fail-back) of a sample test site, as well as a discussion around the benefits of a scripted/automated DR methodology. Topics to be reviewed include audit coverage, generated run-books/reports, and design approach considerations, such as network mesh, redundancy, “pilot light,” vSphere/vCenter considerations, replication options, app tiering/dependencies, protection groups, and iterative testing.
